This Privacy Policy explains how LAR Solutions Sp. z o. o. (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use LarBooks. We act as a controller for account and billing data, and typically as a processor for invoice/customer data you enter into the Service.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, company details, password hash, language and currency preferences.
• Billing data: plan, usage counters, Stripe customer/payment identifiers (card details are handled by Stripe).
• Customer Data you enter: contacts, invoices, accounts and related records.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, logs needed for security and diagnostics.

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

• Providing the Service and account management — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Billing, invoicing and accounting — legal obligation / contract (Art. 6(1)(c) and (b)).
• Security, fraud prevention and service improvement — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Marketing communications only where you consent or where soft opt-in rules allow (Art. 6(1)(a) or (f)).

4. Processors and transfers

We use service providers such as hosting (e.g. cPanel hosting), email and Stripe for payments. Stripe may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

Account and billing data are kept while your account is active and thereafter as required for tax, accounting and dispute resolution. Customer Data is retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after closure, unless longer retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

Subject to GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO). To exercise rights, contact us using the details above.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies/session storage for login and security. Analytics cookies, if introduced later, will be described here and used according to applicable consent rules.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, password hashing, access controls). No method of transmission is 100% secure.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy; the “last updated” date will change. Material changes will be highlighted in the Service where appropriate.
